The truth about Jay Erwin

Jay Erwin got hurt. Bad. Guy almost died. A tree crushed him.

It was touch and go for several weeks. I really didn't know what else I could do, so I wrote blog posts and shared them.

Those posts were nothing more than the warm up act. Like sitting through Milli Vanilli before The Stones hit the stage. I was Milli and Jay, well, Jay's a rock star.

Jay Erwin has gone all out on his Christian faith in a way that few can do. I don't think I'm as strong as Jay; none of us can know until we're put to the fire. Jay faced the fire and won.

Jay has written to us and touched out hearts. And what I truly find revealing is that he has created adhesion among a small group that shares his Christian faith. It's a clean, pure Christianity. It's not something filtered through the media, or hateful, or judgmental.  Just strength and peace and grace and caring.

I like the church of Jay. Think I will worship there more often. I'm looking forward to Jay's next "sermon" and the corresponding response comments.

Thank you, Jay, for leading us to green pastures and still waters.
